Intercalation of 5,10,15,20-Tetrakis[1-(3-sulfonatopropyl)-4-pyridiniumyl]porphyrins into V2O5·nH2O

New intercalation compounds based on zwitterionic tetrakis[1-(3-sulfonatopropyl)-4-pyridiniumyl]porphyrins and xerogel V2O5·nH2O have been obtained. These compounds were characterized by methods of X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, IR-spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy.
