The synthesis of meso-aryl- and β-alkylcorroles and their metal complexes is given in the article. Electrochemical and photooxidative properties of these compounds have been studied. All synthesized corroles are characterized by the data of UV-Vis and ¹Н NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
