An aggregation of the supramolecular system based on the N-methyl-D-glucamine calix[4]resorcinol and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in an aqueous medium was detected. The encapsulating capacity of this system relative to the hydrophilic substrate rhodamine B was evaluated. The antimicrobial and hemolytic properties of the individual and mixed systems were determined.
