Synthesis of Calix[4]arene Bisporphyrin on the Basis of Biladiene-a,c Dihydrobromide

A new calix[4]arene-bisporphyrin has been synthesized following a stepwise approach. The tetrapyrrolic precursor for
bisporphyrin is 10-aryl substituted biladiene-a,c dihydrobromide. The preparation of the starting pyrrolic compounds
has been optimized with respect to the previously reported methods.
